Durations are negotiable, and rotations will take place during the fall, spring, and summer months following a traditional University curriculum.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Create a bill of materials and develop a scope of work for construction projects based on standard drawings and templates.
- Review typical engineering drawings such as construction isometrics, process, and instrumentation, and process flow diagrams for accuracy.
- Tabulate pressure drops through standard equipment designs to assist the operational group with troubleshooting activities.
- Seek input from the construction team to refine construction manuals as needed.
- Work with the field operations team to document best practices for common maintenance procedures.
- Conduct engineering studies for system optimization projects.
- Develop standard cost metrics per project based on typical project variables utilizing historical spending data.
- Develop cost-tracking tools for active projects to assist with cost management.
- Further the design of data management storage and process systems for individual assets.
Education• Bachelor's Degree or pursuing a degree in related engineering field (Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum)
Experience • 1 - 2 years related work experience professional-level experience preferred
