Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst
Experience: 2–6 years
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to transform business data into meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. The role involves data analysis, dashboard development, reporting, data visualization, and collaboration with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret business data from multiple sources.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and reporting needs.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract and transform data.
  • Build KPIs, metrics, and performance reports for business teams.
  • Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks.
  • Identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and anomalies in business data.
  • Develop data models and optimized datasets for reporting and analytics.
  • Automate recurring reports and manual reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, product teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Monitor dashboard and report performance and resolve data-related issues.
  • Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, data sources, and business logic.
  • Support forecasting, business planning, and ad-hoc analytical requests.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Understanding of data visualization and dashboard design principles.
  • Knowledge of Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, and advanced formulas.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL concepts, and data warehousing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with large and complex datasets.
  • Understanding of KPIs, business metrics, and statistical concepts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and technologies.
  • Understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data warehouses.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
  • Tableau Certified Data Analyst
  • Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate
  • Relevant SQL or cloud-data certifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
