    Body Shop Foreman

    Summit Truck Group in Tulsa, OK is seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working, customer-oriented individual who can work in a team environment as Body Shop Foreman.
    The Body Shop Foreman ensures the body shop employees are constantly increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials and machines in the Body Shop Department.
    Responsibilities:
    • Responsible to review work in progress.
    • Responsible to other departments, service write, Navistar, and customers to address any questions about work in progress.
    • Maintain good communications with parts department as to parts order status.
    • Communicate any service related needs to the customer.
    • Communicate with the Service Manager any discipline or employee problems
    • Responsible for conducting the flow of all work.
    • Maintain access and knowledge to navigate Navistar and vendor secure web sites.
    • Responsible to reviewing and signing off on all completed work orders, noting technicians comments, technician sign off, repair completion, and road test completion.
    • Responsible for ensuring all allotted time is posted on repair order before closing.
    • Ability to participate in month end closing.
    • Ensure and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
    • Keep abreast of all federal, state and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.
    • Keep abreast and ensure that employees understand emergency plans for hazardous waste spills.
    • Ability to prepare quotes on repair jobs and complicated installation projects.
    • Prepares estimates and quotes on the phone.
    • Makes frequent calls on customers as required.
    • Ensure proper training is conducted for all employees.
    • Ensure hazardous material is stored and discarded properly.
    • Ensure proper estimates are provided to insurance adjusters.
    • Conduct accurate work order completing for billing.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills required to interact with customers, employees, and co-workers.
    • Ability to work and learn independently.
    • Ability to use various computer software. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Additional training in welding is preferred.
    • Supervisory skills.
    • Training in Body Shop and estimating preferred.
    • Extensive knowledge of the trucking industry and collision repair.
    • Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in the trucking/transportation/Body industry.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Commercial Valid Driver’s license required.
