Key Responsibilities

As an LMFT with Native Health Center, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations of client mental health diagnoses and formulating personalized treatment plans that align with client goals.
  • Maintaining an active caseload of 25-30 sessions per week, delivering individual, family, and group therapy as needed.
  • Documenting each client interaction, including ongoing assessments, treatment plan deviations, and progress notes in compliance with company protocols.
  • Collaborating with a multifaceted team to ensure a holistic approach to each client’s treatment, coordinating with medical professionals, case managers, and family members when necessary.
  • Employing innovative therapeutic techniques that engage clients and motivate them towards achieving their personal and treatment objectives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position caters to a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. You will be working with individuals facing various challenges, including relationship difficulties, mental disorders, and life transitions. Your expertise in marriage and family therapy will be crucial in establishing effective therapeutic relationships and producing positive client outcomes.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly document therapeutic interventions and results.
  • Ability to establish and maintain appropriate therapeutic boundaries while fostering a trusting environment for clients.
  • Familiarity and comfort in working with a range of cultural backgrounds and client demographics.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
Preferred Experience

We value experience that reflects a strong foundation in mental health practices, including:

  • Previous work in family therapy settings and knowledge of community resources that can support client needs.
  • Hands-on experience with treatment plans, diagnostic assessments, and clinical case notes.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and families across a variety of presenting issues.
