Regional MRO Sales Manager

Location:Southern California (Hybrid)

Compensation:$165,000.00 - $202,078.43 annually, plus eligibility for maintenance sales commissions in accordance with the Clay Lacy Aviation Maintenance Sales Commission Plan.

Position Summary

Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking an experiencedRegional MRO Sales Managerto drive business growth throughout the Southwest region. In this role, you will represent one of the industry's most respected aviation brands, partnering with aircraft owners, operators, flight departments, and management companies to deliver world-class maintenance, avionics, paint, interior, and engine solutions.

Reporting to the Vice President of MRO Services, you will build lasting customer relationships, develop new business opportunities, and collaborate with technical teams across Clay Lacy Aviation's nationwide MRO network to deliver exceptional service and customized maintenance solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Develop new business opportunities while growing and maintaining relationships throughout the Southwest region.

  • Sell the complete portfolio of maintenance services offered across Clay Lacy Aviation's MRO facilities.

  • Develop maintenance work scopes for airframe, engine, avionics, paint, interior refurbishment, and aircraft modification projects.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales process, ensuring exceptional service and long-term partnerships.

  • Negotiate sales agreements that balance customer satisfaction with company profitability.

  • Partner with Planning, Scheduling, and Quoting teams to develop accurate and timely maintenance proposals.

  • Expand market share by cultivating relationships with aircraft owners, operators, management companies, and corporate flight departments.

  • Represent Clay Lacy Aviation at industry conferences and trade events, including NBAA, PAMA, and other aviation organizations.

  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration with operational teams across all Clay Lacy Aviation MRO locations.

  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, pricing, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, sales reporting, travel expenses, and customer communications.

  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to support customers and business development efforts.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of five (5) years of MRO sales experience.
  • Corporate aviation experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on aircraft maintenance or avionics experience.
  • FAA A&P Certificate or FCC License required.
  • Proven success developing new business and growing customer relationships.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance operations and maintenance planning.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively while balancing customer satisfaction and company profitability.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound business judgment.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships both internally and externally.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%, often on short notice.
