Position Overview

Motion Pro Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and fully licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our mission-driven team. In this remote, full-time role, you will leverage your expertise to provide impactful mental health services to students in a school setting. Work Environment

This remote role provides flexibility, allowing you to manage your schedule while effectively supporting students' mental health needs from the comfort of your home. You will be part of an integrated team of professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and educational staff, all dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health services and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings for students to understand their mental health concerns and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans that align with their individual needs.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to engage and inspire students in their recovery journey.
• Work in partnership with school staff, parents, and other stakeholders to coordinate care and create a holistic support system for each student.
• Document and maintain complete and accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards to ensure confidentiality and integrity of client information.
• Empower students and their families through education regarding mental health resources and strategies for recovery, promoting a proactive approach to mental wellness.
• Participate in regular team meetings to collaborate, share insights, and enhance care strategies, striving for continuous improvement in service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily focus on students enrolled in schools within our community. Many of these individuals face a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your expertise will directly contribute to creating a positive impact on their academic performance and personal development.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required; a master's or doctoral degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling with at least 2 years of relevant practice.
• Familiarity with various mental health disorders and evidence-based counseling techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school personnel.

Preferred Experience

• Experience within school settings or working with youth populations is highly desirable.
• Competency in managing crisis situations and providing immediate support to students in distress.
• Demonstrated ability to develop tailored intervention strategies that resonate with young individuals.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
