Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate the mental health needs of clients, leading to informed and personalized treatment plans.

  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that specifically address the unique challenges each client faces, guiding them towards their recovery goals.

  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing proven evidence-based practices, thereby promoting a therapeutic setting for discussion and healing.

  • Engage in team collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to ensure clients receive integrated and effective care throughout their treatment journey.

  • Offer education and ongoing support to clients’ families, equipping them with the resources they need to participate actively in the recovery process.

  • Maintain detailed and confidential documentation following all regulatory and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and maintaining client trust.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Motion Pro Recovery Center, you will primarily support adult clients experiencing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders. Your expertise will be pivotal in providing them with effective therapeutic interventions, promoting coping mechanisms, and enhancing their overall quality of life as they navigate complex emotional landscapes.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

  • A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

  • Demonstrable experience of at least two years in mental health counseling, indicating proficiency in therapeutic techniques.

  • A solid understanding of evidence-based practices applicable to varying mental health disorders.

  • Exceptional communication, therapeutic skills, and the ability to develop rapport with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience
  • Professional training or specialization in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or other effective modalities in mental health therapy.

  • A proven ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams and contribute to client-centered outcomes.
