Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and screenings, using standardized tools to evaluate clients’ emotional and psychological needs. This initial assessment is pivotal in developing personalized treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough client evaluations, targeting specific challenges and therapeutic goals to enhance their recovery journey.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to individual client needs.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure cohesive and integrated care pathways for all clients.

• Educate and support families of clients, fostering a holistic approach that encourages family involvement in the recovery process and enhances the overall effectiveness of treatment.

• Maintain meticulous records and documentation of client interactions and progress, adhering to all relevant ethical and legal guidelines to ensure confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The client population you will serve is diverse, comprising individuals facing various mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders. Your role focuses on providing empathetic care while adapting your therapeutic techniques to meet the unique cultural and personal backgrounds of each client.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license is required, such as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential for this position.

• Experience or specialized training in mental health counseling is a must, ensuring that you can effectively support clients through their recovery journey.

• A strong understanding and application of evidence-based practices for treating various mental health disorders are critical.

• Exceptional therapeutic skills, along with the ability to build rapport and motivate clients, are fundamental to this role.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit are necessary to work effectively as part of a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in mental health counseling is preferred, demonstrating a history of effective client outcomes and professional development.

• Experience in a community health setting and familiarity with integrated care models is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• Our compensation package is competitive, with a salary range of USD 60,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
