HRIS Analyst

Business Overview

As a key member of the HR Analytics & Insights team, the HRIS Analyst serves as a strategic partner to HR stakeholders and IT functions across Americas. This role is responsible for the end-to-end support, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of our HR technology ecosystem, encompassing both standard enterprise platforms and proprietary in-house applications.
The successful candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to drive digital transformation, leading initiatives to automate workflows, streamline data integration, and align regional practices with global standards. The role ensures that our HR technology suite provides high-quality, actionable data to support business decision-making and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Program Management

End-to-End Project Leadership: Lead HRIS initiatives by partnering with both HR and non-HR business units. Act as the primary liaison between IT, end-users, and project teams, bridging our client between HR business processes and technical system capabilities.
SDLC Participation: Contribute to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, functional design, implementation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Strategic Prioritization: Evaluate and establish HRIS project priorities based on business impact, scalability, and resource availability.
Operating Model Optimization: Continuously refine the target operating model between HR and HR IT to enhance user experience, improve incident resolution times, and eliminate manual interventions through automation.
Global Alignment: Act as the regional SME to drive strategic design alignment between Local and Global HR/IT teams, expanding support scope to include Group-wide initiatives within the Americas.
2. Systems Administration & Technical Support
Tiered Support: Provide advanced technical support to HR professionals and end-users for all HR-developed applications and enterprise systems.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and diagnose complex HRIS data discrepancies and interface failures; implement corrective actions and escalate critical issues through appropriate channels.
Governance & Compliance: Execute the HRIS control framework to ensure all system activities and data handling comply with Group policies and regulatory requirements.
Backlog Management: Collaborate with IT to manage the development backlog, ensuring priority alignment, tracking pipeline progress, and communicating system changes/impacts to stakeholders.
System Maintenance: Oversee the administration of specialized HR Java-based applications and participate in the rigorous auditing of employee lifecycle data (hires, transfers, terminations).
3. Data Integrity & Analytics
Data Governance: Ensure the highest level of data accuracy by designing and executing complex queries, data reconciliations, and integrity audits.
Reporting & Insights: Develop and utilize advanced queries and reports to validate the integrity of employee information and support business inquiries.
System Configuration: Support system configuration changes and large-scale employee record updates to ensure seamless data flow.
Integration Management: Manage complex data uploads and perform critical reconciliations between PeopleSoft HCM and ancillary systems, including Payroll and Compensation platforms.
Required Qualifications:
5-7 years of HRIS experience
Demonstrates problem-solving, trouble-shooting, software lifecycle testing, solutions-oriented mindset
Experience with HRIS Systems (PeopleSoft HCM preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to communicate to technical and non-technical users.
Advanced MicroSoft Excel skills
Experience in developing, enhancing and trouble-shooting Peoplesoft Queries
Outstanding operational and organizational skills in addition to detailed oriented work
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to operate autonomously and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be well organized and to be multi-tasking
Ability to work as part of a multicultural team
Ability to collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and to be client-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience/training
Knowledge of HR processes
Knowledge of the banking industry
Analytical and project management skills a plus
