Controls & Analytical Ownership

  • Own execution and analysis of control reports (DDD), identifying trends and recurring issues

  • Develop and refine SQL syntax to address systemic root causes

  • Evaluate and enhance existing data controls to improve monitoring accuracy and efficiency

  • Partner with leadership to maintain operational dashboards and performance reporting

  • Independently investigate business-reported issues and assess system behavior in coordination with IT

  • Log and document defects and change requests with detailed current and future state analysis

  • Support system build validation and confirm scope of technical issues

Reporting & Business Insights

  • Design and maintain operational reports using SQL, SSRS, and Excel

  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable reporting solutions

  • Partner with business units to interpret results, identify trends, and drive data-informed decisions

Cross-Functional Initiatives

  • Participate in new program rollouts, campaign preparation, and systems testing efforts

  • Lead workflow improvement initiatives and refine data correction procedures

  • Support seasonal programs such as Open Season with data pulls, rate table updates, and validation processes

Team Leadership & Knowledge Sharing

  • Mentor junior analysts and assist with onboarding

  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing discussions and mini-training sessions

  • Maintain and enhance shared documentation and reference materials

  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team culture

What You Bring

Technical & Professional Strengths

  • Strong working knowledge of relational databases and reporting tools (SSRS, Oracle, Webfocus, TOAD, Access)

  • Ability to identify risks, assess trade-offs, and recommend practical solutions

  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder communication skills

  • High attention to detail and excellent prioritization skills

  • Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration

  • Customer-focused mindset with sound business judgment
