Metrapolis Behavioral Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

Your role as an LMFT will include a range of essential duties aimed at facilitating the mental wellness of your clients:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide culturally relevant psychotherapy services in both English and Spanish, utilizing strong verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address various mental health challenges.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Offer individual and group therapy sessions from a HIPAA-compliant remote setting or in-person at our outpatient office.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health record (EHR) software.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Metrapolis Behavioral Center, our client focus encompasses a diverse array of individuals and families. You will work with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing varying issues, including trauma, grief, loss, LGBTQ+ concerns, and perinatal mental health challenges. We emphasize the importance of understanding each client's cultural background and adapting treatment approaches accordingly.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a closely related field from an accredited graduate program.
  • A valid, active, and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Oregon.
  • At least two years of experience in a mental health setting, providing therapeutic services to children, adults, and families.
  • Strong adherence to ethical standards, particularly regarding HIPAA regulations, and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to provide bilingual psychotherapy effectively.
  • A willingness to work evenings and weekends, and a commitment to regular attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Experience

Candidates who possess the following additional skills and experience will be favored:

  • Training and experience in specialized therapeutic approaches such as CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR.
  • A demonstrated area of specialization (e.g., trauma, grief, LGBTQ+ issues, perinatal mental health).
  • Experience with EHR software and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Previous experience working as an in-network provider with insurance panels.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
