Position Overview

Metrapolis Behavioral Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a remote capacity. This full-time position includes a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 annually, plus a signing bonus. The LPC will be responsible for assessing patient needs and formulating individualized treatment plans, continually working towards improving patient well-being and functionality.

Work Environment

This position is remote, allowing counselors the flexibility to connect with clients from the comfort of their homes while adhering to a structured schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments of patients to evaluate their needs and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at symptom resolution and improved functioning.
• Provide a range of psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, couple, and group therapy sessions, ensuring that interventions are clinically appropriate and aligned with best practices.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights to program planning alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
• Engage in crisis intervention and triage evaluation collaboratively with both outpatient and inpatient treatment teams, serving as an advocate for patient care and safety.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines. This includes obtaining and managing patient data systemically.
• Uphold ethical standards established by the counseling profession and adhere to the policies and protocols of the Metrapolis Behavioral Center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will work with a varied patient population, which includes individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. Our clinic serves a diverse demographic, and counselors will have the opportunity to engage with clients from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon or license-eligible status.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical environment.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to the counseling field.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and other relevant digital tools.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in primary care or medical settings is highly desirable.
• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse counseling, or trauma-informed care is preferred.
• Prior experience in crisis intervention or triage responsibilities is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package includes an annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $105,000 based on experience and qualifications, alongside additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
