Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and screenings to identify client needs and outline personalized treatment strategies.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans that address individual client challenges and therapeutic goals, assessing progress regularly to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using established therapeutic modalities, adapting approaches as required to meet client needs.
• Collaborate with a diverse treatment team comprising psychiatrists, case managers, and medical professionals to deliver coordinated and integrated care for clients.
• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients' families, emphasizing their role in the recovery process and promoting an inclusive approach to care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records to comply with industry regulations and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client demographic encompasses a wide range of individuals from various backgrounds and age groups seeking help with conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work closely with individuals facing diverse cultural, social, and economic challenges, allowing you to enhance your clinical skills and cultural competence.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required; however, candidates with master’s or doctoral degrees will be prioritized.
• Aminimum of 2 years of related experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating your effectiveness and dedication in the field.
• Proficiency in evidence-based mental health practices, with an emphasis on adaptability to meet client needs.
• Exemplary communication skills for effective collaboration and rapport-building with clients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience

• Advanced training or certifications in specialized therapeutic areas, such as trauma-informed care or cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), would be advantageous.
• Experience working in community mental health settings, particularly those addressing socio-economic and diverse cultural factors.
• Proficiency in teletherapy technologies and electronic health records management.

Compensation and Benefits

• The competitive salary for this role ranges from USD 60,000 to USD 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
