Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

Medcor is seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our employer-based clinic in Marshall, MN. This is a full-time opportunity working onsite within a manufacturing/processing environment, providing a combination of occupational health, primary care, urgent/episodic care, and medical surveillance services.

About the Role

As the onsite Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will serve as the clinic's sole provider and deliver a broad range of healthcare services to the client's employees.

The clinic's scope includes:

  • Occupational health and work-related injury/illness care
  • Workers' compensation injury evaluation and treatment
  • Medical surveillance and regulatory examinations
  • Primary and preventive care
  • Urgent and episodic care
  • Health and wellness education
  • Care for employees, contractors, and eligible employee dependents over age 5

You’ll work closely with a Medcor-employed oversight physician, as well as Medcor's Operations Manager, Director, and other clinical and operational leaders.

There are no on-call requirements. With advance notice, occasional flexibility for additional hours may be requested based on client needs.

What You'll Do

A typical day as a Medcor Provider may include:

  • Provide high-quality clinical care and exceptional service to patients and the client
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
  • Treat patients according to Evidence-Based Medicine standards
  • Provide primary, preventive, urgent, and episodic care
  • Perform occupational health surveillance and regulatory examinations
  • Educate patients regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Coach patients on healthy behaviors and lifestyle choices
  • Document patient care using Medcor's EMR and other clinical tools
  • Collaborate with client health, safety, and environmental professionals
  • Partner with client HR and benefits teams on appropriate clinical matters
  • Support workplace wellness and preventive health initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with patients, client contacts, and Medcor colleagues

Required Qualifications

To be considered, you must:

  • Be a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Hold a current, unrestricted license to practice in Minnesota
  • Maintain current DEA registration
  • Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Have strong computer skills and experience working with EMR systems
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be comfortable working independently as the sole onsite provider
  • Be comfortable practicing in an employer-based/worksite clinic environment
  • Demonstrate a collaborative, patient-focused approach and commitment to excellent customer service

Preferred Qualifications

It’s a plus if you have experience in:

  • Primary care
  • Occupational health
  • Pediatrics
  • Employer-based or worksite health clinics
  • Workers' compensation and workplace injury management

Pay Range: $68.00–$75.00 per hour
