Medasource is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Springfield, Ohio.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Shift: 8 hours, days

MRI Technologist โ€“ 4 Week Contract

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a fast-paced imaging team for a 4-week contract assignment. The MRI Tech will perform high-quality MRI procedures while working closely with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to ensure excellent patient care and accurate imaging results.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI scans according to established protocols and physician orders
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
  • Administer IV contrast injections as needed
  • Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment efficiently
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EPIC and PACS systems
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and MRI screening procedures
  • Participate in maintaining quality assurance standards within the department
Schedule
  • Weekend shift schedule with rotating call requirements
  • Call coverage required during designated weekends and evenings
Requirements
  • ARRT (MR) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
  • Previous GE MRI experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with EPIC and PACS preferred
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient care standards
Unit Details
  • Work across both hospital and outpatient imaging settings
  • Average daily volume of approximately 22 exams
  • Closed MRI units with GE 1.5T equipment
  • Technologists will perform IV starts and administer contrast as needed
