Job description

Job DetailsJob Location: Washington, DC 20544Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeSalary Range: $160,000.00 - $175,000.00 SalaryTravel Percentage: Up to 50% Job Shift: DayJob Category: Government

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must undergo and pass a background investigation.

This position is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expertise in physical security systems, equipment lifecycle management, and federal security operations
  • Assess security equipment inventories, asset data, maintenance and replacement practices, lifecycle planning, and supporting processes to identify gaps affecting equipment visibility, readiness, sustainability, and investment decisions
  • Evaluate asset management practices in the context of operational requirements, facility conditions, technology compatibility, maintenance history, and lifecycle risk
  • Work with process, workforce, and analytical personnel to help integrate security systems findings with broader Judicial Facility and Security Program recommendations
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum Eight (8) years of experience with physical security systems, equipment lifecycle management, and federal security operations
  • Proven ability to assess security equipment inventories, asset data, maintenance and replacement practices, and lifecycle planning to identify gaps affecting equipment visibility, readiness, sustainability, and investment decisionmaking
  • Strong background evaluating assetmanagement practices in relation to operational requirements, facility conditions, technology compatibility, maintenance history, and lifecycle risk
  • Experience collaborating with process, workforce, and analytical personnel to integrate physical security system findings into broader Judicial Facility and Security Program recommendations
  • Ability to produce clear, actionable analyses that enhance equipment visibility, operational readiness, and long term sustainability across diverse security environments
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous Federal Court protection experience
  • Previous State or County Court protection experience
