The Material Handling Division of NWP, an established metal forming manufacturer in the material handling industry is accepting resumes for Shift Supervisor position in production/warehousing area at our Frankfort, Kentucky location. Positions works Sunday through Thursday 7:30 pm until 6:30 am most weeks with occasional additional overtime as required to meet customer demands. This is an hourly paid overtime eligible position reporting directly to the Plant Manager. This position has a regular 50 hour workweek plus double time for all overtime hours worked.

Pay Progression  $28.75 start rate, $29.75 90 day rate, $30.75 1 year rate.  Rates include $1.00/hour shift differential.  We are also currently offering a double time for all overtime hours worked incentive.

 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coordinating workflow for a work area of approximately 10 employees to ensure production schedules are met in a timely and cost effective manner

• Enforcing quality procedures to ensure quality requirements are met

• Monitoring and improving work center productivity levels

• Participating in continuous improvement activities to reduce operating cost & increase productivity

• Enforcing company policies & administrating disciplinary actions as warranted

• Implementing and sustaining a manufacturing environment committed to world class housekeeping

Job Requirements
Applicants must have a steady work history with a minimum of 3+ years recent supervisory experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment including experience in lean manufacturing and 5S programs. Must have a high sense of Urgency in a fast pace environment. Applicants must pass tape measure test as well as pre- employment drug screen and 7 year criminal background check for felonies and misdemeanors.
