Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and professional salesperson to join Sales Development who is truly excited by the future of technology. At Wireless Logic, we are a team so it's important that you fit into this type of dynamic and help contribute to the continued success of the company. 

You will work within the Sales function to build strong relationships with new prospects within the IoT Sector. This will lead to the creation of new business discovery meetings and pipeline opportunities that will be passed to the Business Development team for closing and onboarding of new customers. You will work closely the wider Business Development team along with Product and Technical teams to ensure correct resource is aligned to customer meetings and opportunities. 

Your key contact(s) for each new account will vary drastically, so you will need to be confident in speaking with individuals from all different levels of an organisation. This versatility and a personable nature, alongside the below desired behaviours, will be fundamental in your success at Wireless Logic.  

Your Daily Quest:

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be working to discover sales opportunities with brand new prospective customers that will deliver long-term high-value revenue to Wireless Logic to, in turn, achieve a set of realistic quarterly targets. Once a new business customer meeting has been set, you will need to co-ordinate a clear and meaningful handover to the Business Development team. This role will allow you to start developing your fundamental sales skills with a guided on-boarding programme and regular training 

In line with Wireless Logic's fast-paced growth, we require a confident and high performing individual who is willing to learn about the industry and fully commit themselves to the world of IoT. We understand that this may be daunting, however with a structured induction plan and a wealth of knowledge surrounding you, we can assure you that you will be in safe hands.   

  • Proactively gain an understanding of your assigned market's ecosystem & provide relevant feedback/ideas on how Wireless Logic can target this market more effectively 
  • Actively working to create new appointments and sales opportunities through a multi-touch sales strategy  
  • Helping support the Business Development team with high-value lead generation and pipeline build 
  • Contact, nurture and manage Marketing generated leads from initial discovery to initial consultation with a Business Development Manager  
  • Help contribute to a high performing sales pipeline for the Business Development Managers 
  • Working towards consistently achieving your quarterly goals and objectives  
  • Effectively communicate between departments to meet customer requirements and manage their expectations  
  • Continuously demonstrating a desire to improve your level of understanding of the business 
  • Attend relevant sector events to network, prospect & increase industry knowledge 

The Secret Sauce:  

  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a Sales Development or Telesales role 
  • Successful experience within a similar industry  
  • Natural ability to build rapport to achieve engagement from a wide variety of business stakeholders 
  • Confident to discuss complex topics with customer influencers and decision makers 
  • Ability to objection handle, and relay Wireless Logic value propositions 
  • Excellent written and phone communication skills 
  • An ability to influence decision-makers 
  • Works effectively & collaboratively in a team 
  • Effective time management 
  • Clear Communication
