Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations of clients to identify their mental health needs.
• Design and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each individual's unique situation, utilizing evidence-based practices, including solution-focused therapy techniques.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and holistic treatment approaches, participating actively in case consultations and peer reviews to foster collaborative care.
• Provide educational resources and support to patients and their families, addressing mental health topics and available community resources.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in mental health research to integrate new methodologies and practices into your therapeutic approach, enhancing patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients in a hospice care setting, addressing complex emotional and psychological needs related to terminal illness. Patience, empathy, and a deep understanding of grief and loss are crucial as you guide clients and their families through this sensitive phase of life.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• An active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in Washington State.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in psychotherapy, particularly in palliative care or hospice settings.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in using solution-focused therapy techniques and familiarity with other therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Previous work experience in interdisciplinary teams, demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
