Work Environment

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, ensuring comprehensive and cohesive care for our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans addressing the unique emotional and psychological needs of patients facing end-of-life issues.
• Engage in therapy sessions utilizing solution-focused techniques and evidence-based practices to promote healing and resilience.
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, attending weekly case consultations to provide cohesive patient care and ensure alignment on treatment goals.
• Facilitate educational sessions for patients and their families, offering insight into mental health support resources and coping strategies.
• Regularly incorporate new findings from mental health research into your therapeutic practices to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve clients within a hospice setting, focusing on individuals who are navigating the complexities of terminal illness. Your expertise as an LICSW will assist patients and their families in finding emotional support and coping mechanisms to manage grief, anxiety, and complex psychosocial challenges associated with end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in Washington state.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in psychotherapy, with a demonstrated ability to work in high-stress environments.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with experience in palliative care or hospice settings, as well as proficiency in trauma-informed care practices. Familiarity with holistic and integrative treatment approaches will be advantageous in meeting the diverse needs of our patient population.

Compensation and Benefits

Lighted Paths Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
