Position Overview

Life Stream Behavioral Health LLC is actively seeking a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our dedicated team, offering essential mental health services to the Seattle community. Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders through both community and remote settings.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared objectives and improve service delivery.
• Respectfully engage with and understand clients from diverse backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet varying traditions and beliefs.
• Maintain compliance with organizational protocols and external regulatory frameworks while delivering client care.
• Uphold the standards outlined by professional ethical guidelines and the organization's code of conduct.
• Improve your clinical skills by actively participating in both individual and team-based training sessions aimed at enhancing service delivery.
• Identify potential safety concerns in client interactions, utilizing effective procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Conduct comprehensive, evidence-based assessments and facilitate or arrange for additional evaluations as necessary.
• Develop and implement integrated care plans to ensure clients access the necessary support services.
• Provide a spectrum of brief interventions, treatment, and recovery strategies tailored to the client's needs.
• Engage in crisis intervention and offer timely support to clients requiring immediate assistance.
• Manage a caseload that includes individual, group, and family therapy, ensuring responsive treatment in line with clients' needs.
• Monitor all aspects of client treatment, including admission, ongoing assessments, and discharge protocols.
• Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation and data reporting requirements.
• Be available for on-call support as needed during and after clinic hours.
• Contribute to internal committees focused on quality improvement initiatives to enhance client experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves under-resourced individuals and families in the Seattle area, many of whom face significant barriers to accessing mental health care. You will have the opportunity to provide culturally competent and client-centered care to a diverse population, helping to facilitate meaningful connections and recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A valid LICSW licensure in the State of Washington is required to practice in this role.
• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field is mandatory.
• Exceptional knowledge of client assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, especially regarding mental health issues and crisis interventions.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
• Demonstrated organizational and planning skills, ensuring effective case management.
• Competency in addressing age-specific and specialty issues relevant to the client population.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a similar role is preferred, ideally in a community health or mental health setting.
• Bilingual capabilities, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly desirable to better serve our community's diverse population.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
