Position Overview

Life Stream Behavioral Health LLC is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical services to clients experiencing serious mental illnesses and emotional disorders, facilitating assessment and therapeutic interventions.

  • Engage in collaborative treatment planning with team members, contributing to the integration of services and ensuring continuity of care.

  • Conduct evidence-based assessments and screenings, adapting approaches to meet individual client needs and presenting issues.

  • Implement and monitor integrated care plans, coordinating services amongst clients, families, and multiple providers.

  • Utilize crisis intervention techniques as necessary and provide support during challenging situations to ensure client safety and stability.

  • Maintain a manageable caseload, delivering individual, group, and family therapy aligned with established treatment goals.

  • Complete necessary documentation timely and accurately, contributing to client reports and treatment plans that promote ongoing quality improvement.

  • Participate in team meetings and committees aimed at enhancing service delivery, organization strategies, and overall client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will primarily work with a diverse client population in Chesapeake, Virginia, many of whom may face barriers to accessing quality mental health care. This role requires an appreciation for cultural competency and a commitment to understanding the unique backgrounds and challenges faced by clients in underserved communities.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is mandatory.

  • Active LCSW licensure in the state of Virginia is required for this role.

  • Strong expertise in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and crisis management relevant to the client populations served.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to relate effectively with clients and colleagues from various cultural backgrounds.

  • Demonstrated organizational and planning abilities to manage caseloads effectively.

Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly involving community or outpatient services.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, enhancing our ability to serve non-English speaking clients.

Compensation and Benefits
