Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to clients experiencing major mental health issues and severe emotional disturbances through individual, group, and family therapy.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared clinical goals, fostering a respectful and inclusive team dynamic.
• Engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, respecting their traditions, beliefs, and interpersonal styles to create a trusting therapeutic alliance.
• Conduct evidence-based assessments and screenings, developing integrated care plans that address clients' specific needs and connect them with necessary services.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and support clients during crises, ensuring safety and providing stabilization techniques as needed.
• Carry a diverse caseload, actively monitoring client progress, responses to interventions, and adapting plans accordingly to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Deliver timely and accurate documentation of clinical activities, including progress notes, assessments, and evaluations.
• Participate in quality improvement committees, contributing to the development of best practices and service delivery enhancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCSW at Life Stream Behavioral Health, you will work with a broad spectrum of clients facing substantial mental health challenges. Our clientele often includes individuals with histories of trauma, depression, anxiety disorders, and various emotional disturbances. You will play a critical role in crafting tailored interventions that aim to empower clients, fostering their engagement in treatment and promoting positive mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is mandatory.
• Active LCSW licensure in the state of Georgia is required.
• Expertise in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and crisis management, with a strong ability to develop effective treatment plans.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex clinical concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working in a mental health setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
