Key Responsibilities

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Conduct and facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that foster a safe and supportive environment where clients can share experiences, learn, and connect with peers.
• Individual Counseling: Provide personalized, empathetic, and evidence-based counseling to clients, helping them navigate their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while developing actionable coping strategies.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs, aligning therapeutic goals with their personal aspirations and values.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess clients’ progress, utilizing feedback tools and metrics to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, participate in case consultations, and ensure coordinated care efforts to enhance client well-being and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with young adults and teens aged 18 to 30 who are navigating various mental health challenges. Our outpatient center specializes in providing comprehensive support for individuals undergoing Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), emphasizing recovery, coping skills, and emotional resilience. Your contributions will directly influence their journey toward healing and self-discovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices and techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working with young adults in an outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Experience in co-facilitating group therapy sessions or similar group dynamics.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Life Digital Health offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, professional development stipends, and free clinical supervision.
