We are Looking for a General Manager for Fast Growing BBQ Concept

Are you ready for the next level? You will be joining a company that is thriving and growing rapidly. As part of a 5-manager team, your primary goal will be to develop plans that meet sales goals, reach profitability levels, and create new team members. In addition to having successful business results in the past, you should have exhibited strong leadership abilities which have helped grow your current restaurant and brand.

Job Role & Summary

This company Rocks! No late nights, great pay, benefits (monthly bonuses, what!), and room to move up in the state or out of the state.

We open our business at 5 am each morning and specialize scratch-made BBQ. Our management team is limited to just four or 5 people, so you will be a part of the team overseeing the operation.

Being part of a team with the ability to jump in and help is critical.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day operations as well as other managers
  • Supervising food prep and cookingĀ 
  • Checking food temperature
  • Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as neededĀ 
  • Train staff on prep work and help the team understand the importance of following the recipe.Ā 
  • Run the business based on excel by the week and the month
  • Maintain great communication across your store and help solve problems as they come up

Skills and Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with cooking and catering
  • Knowledge of a wide range of recipes with the ability to learn by the book
  • Excellent organizational skillsĀ 
  • Conflict resolutionĀ 
  • Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environmentĀ 
  • Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
  • Effectively maintains cleanliness of exterior and interior facilities and ensures sufficient supply levels for team members to execute their responsibilities.Ā 
  • Oversees schedules, effectively maintaining staffing levels, labor goals, and guest satisfaction.
  • Oversees staff department
  • Effectively manages budgets including forecasting.Ā 
  • Interviews and assists in the hiring of all departments to maintain appropriate staffing par levels.
  • Effectively manages assistant managers and team members to ensure that all food and service standards are met each shift and ensures all guests have a great experience.
