Short DescriptionAssist Pathologist in surgical pathology, frozen sections and autopsies. Work without immediate supervision when performing professional duties associated with the preparation, performance and completion of examination and/or preparations of surgical pathology specimens. Experience Required

Qualified to perform high complexity testing per CLIA-88 regulations

Education Requirements

Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from a NAACLS accredited institution.

Baccalaureate degree in biology (or biological sciences) preferred.

Completion of a NAACLS accredited pathologists' asst. program preferred.

License/Certification Requirements

American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or eligible preferred.
