Role Description: We are looking for a passionate Visual Merchandising Manager who excels at brand storytelling and out-of-the-box retail thinking to join our Redken team. Our Merchandising Manager will translate Redken Care big bets into dynamic store animations via merchandising, impactful retail animations, and planograms. This position adds value to marketing and sales by supporting the physical articulation of the Redken Care brand, driving traffic and sales across both professional distribution and consumer retail outlets (including SalonCentric and Ulta). As a result, the candidate should be able to increase retail product sales through successful campaigns and merchandising strategies. This position requires strong creative skills, exceptional communication skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Key Responsibilities:

• Omni-Channel Store Presentation & Brand Animation: In partnership with the Marketing team, responsible for the development, implementation, and visual presentation of the Redken Care brand within store environments including SalonCentric professional stores and Ulta to support brand acceleration and category dominance. This includes managing monthly owned permanent endcap updates and all care-awarded placements. Present store concepts effectively to senior leadership to secure buy-in, proactively incorporating executive feedback and making necessary edits to achieve full alignment.
• Publication & Content Collaboration: Support catalog and publication management by collaborating closely with internal care teams to ensure strong content and storytelling ads within SalonCentric and Ulta publications. Assist in reviewing layouts, ensuring brand and visual alignment, coordinating content inputs across cross-functional teams, meeting project milestones, and adhering to set budget targets.
• Care Inline Merchandising Updates: Manage the maintenance, design evolution, and execution of Redken gondolas and walls across retail channels. Shepherd updates to permanent fixtures, off-shelf placements, endcaps, and shelf strips, ensuring alignment with upcoming marketing and educational initiatives.
• Creative Collaboration & Briefing: Collaborate closely with Brand Marketers (Care), Sales, and Education to understand and translate commercial goals into creative briefs. Partner with the Creative team on visual alignment and shepherd projects from initial brief through project art release. Act as the primary facilitator for creative routing and milestone approvals, ensuring all feedback loops are managed constructively and assets are delivered on time and on budget.
• Planogram Leadership: Lead planogram updates and initiate changes within SalonCentric and Ulta accounts as needed. Make recommendations on POG updates, monitor product assortments, and manage the execution of shelf resets. Partner with business planning teams to analyze POG productivity and ROI.
• Financial & Budget Optimization: Manage monthly SalonCentric and retail care store merchandising financials. Oversee Fuel and CAPEX budgets, BOLD invoicing, catalog/publication cost approvals, and budget reconciliations.
• Cross-Functional Orchestration: Serve as a central hub of collaboration between Brand Marketers, Demand Planning (inventory for stores), Finance, SalonCentric and Ulta Marketing/Merchandising teams, Creative, Purchasing, and external fixture suppliers to ensure all timelines and milestones are met.
• Inventory & Logistics (BOLD): Maintain BOLD inventory fixture storage and communicate with partners for inventory reconciliation. Brief Purchasing on care related fixture orders while managing the budget and monitoring master store fixture inventory.
• In-Store Execution & Communication: Create a comprehensive monthly merchandising deck incorporating all feedback. Work closely with SalonCentric and Ulta marketing and merchandising teams on reviewing monthly materials. Actively participate in crafting communications with internal teams to support merchandising directives to stores.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct regular store visits to audit execution and seek inspiration. Monitor trends in both the professional and consumer retail markets.

What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:

• 4-year college degree
• Visual merchandising background with 3-5 years of experience
• Prior experience or a strong baseline understanding of hair care/beauty retail is a plus, but not mandatory for the role
• Strong & effective business communication (both written and oral skills)
• Detail-oriented with a strong eye for design and catalog/layout presentation
• Information seeking & problem-solving mindset
• Adaptable/flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and project management tools (such as Wrike)
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
