Job description

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise applications strategy aligned with corporate objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on technology-enabled business transformation opportunities.
  • Establish enterprise application governance, portfolio management, and prioritization processes to ensure investments deliver measurable business value.
  • Drive standardization, simplification, and optimization of enterprise business processes.

Oracle Fusion ERP Leadership

  • Provide strategic leadership for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and related applications.
  • Lead ERP transformation initiatives, including implementation, enhancement, optimization, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
  • Ensure Oracle Cloud capabilities are fully leveraged to improve operational efficiency, financial performance, reporting, compliance, and user experience.
  • Oversee ERP roadmap planning, release management, system upgrades, and adoption of emerging Oracle technologies and innovations.

Business Partnership & Transformation

  • Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, and Operations leaders to identify opportunities to improve processes and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead enterprise-wide process transformation initiatives supported by modern cloud technologies, automation, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics.
  • Champion data integrity, business intelligence, and enterprise reporting capabilities that support informed decision-making.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee application support, service delivery, system performance, availability, and user satisfaction across all enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage budgets, vendor contracts, licensing, and resource allocation to maximize ROI..

People Leadership

  • Build, develop, and retain high-performing enterprise application teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Lead succession planning, talent development, and organizational capability building across the applications organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline. MBA or equivalent preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise applications, ERP, and business technology transformation.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, global enterprise application organizations. Manufacturing, industrial, specialty chemical, or other asset-intensive experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership of at least one full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation from strategy, design, and deployment through successful go-live and stabilization. Global ERP transformations exceeding $10 million in project value preferred.
  • Deep expertise across Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Procurement, Manufacturing, Projects, and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integrations, data management, analytics, governance, cybersecurity, cloud architecture, and digital transformation practices.
  • Experience establishing, managing, and optimizing a Managed Service Provider (MSP) relationship supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, including application support, enhancements, release management, and service-level governance preferred.
  • Experience managing large budgets, global teams, and complex technology vendor relationships, preferably throughout ERP transformation programs.
  • Experience leveraging AI, machine learning, robotic process automation (RPA), and advanced analytics to improve business performance preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational change management skills.
