Job description

As a Wealth Management Advisor through CrestPoint Talent, you will join a dedicated team focused on building client relationships and managing tailored investment solutions on-site in Jersey City, NJ. This role emphasizes developing a robust book of individual clients through trusted advisory relationships, leveraging proprietary and industry tools to deliver comprehensive wealth management strategies. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will collaborate with a small team to meet production and asset growth goals while maintaining the highest ethical and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, onboard, and grow a book of individual client relationships
  • Conduct portfolio reviews and assess clients’ risk tolerance and investment needs
  • Develop and recommend tailored financial plans and investment strategies
  • Maintain ongoing client communication to support goal achievement and satisfaction
  • Stay informed on market trends, regulatory updates, and firm product offerings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide comprehensive service and support
  • Meet production targets and drive asset growth in alignment with firm objectives

Required Qualifications

  • Strong client relationship management with the ability to build trust and explain complex financial concepts clearly
  • Proficiency in financial planning, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk assessment
  • Business development and sales capabilities including prospecting, networking, and referral generation
  • Active FINRA registrations (e.g., Series 7 and Series 63/65/66 or equivalent) with a clean compliance record
  • Analytical skills to evaluate markets, investments, and client portfolios with clear, data-driven recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within small advisory teams (1-5 advisors)
  • Familiarity with proprietary and industry technology platforms for wealth management
  • Minimal travel requirements, able to focus on local client development
