Job description

Utility Digital Printing Press Operator
Location: Sedalia, MO
This position coordinates workload in line with production schedule and established priorities to ensure safe, efficient operation of multiple printing presses. Work schedule will be second shift.
  • Operate various digital printing presses according to production schedule demands. Maintain flexibility in press operation.
  • Experience and training on HP 7000 amp; HP 12000 digital presses preferred.
  • Prepare digital printing press for daily work. Organize work area for efficient production including fully stocked shelves, supplies needed at press and any customer materials to complete jobs.
  • Assist in maintenance of total quality and image of the Sedalia location.
  • Maintain machinery and clean it regularly. Report any repair needs to Manager and keep the maintenance and service records up to date.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned and abide by all company policies.
  • Be able to successfully work with others in a positive, cooperative manner in a team-oriented environment to accomplish the company’s goals.
  • Be able to lift 50 lb. throughout shift.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, stressful environment
  • Keep inventory updated as materials are added and removed.
  • Assist in other departments as needed.
  • Operation of letter press equipment.
