Job description

Adecco is assisting a client in Parsippany, NJ in recruiting for a Credit & Collections Analyst to join their team on a 5-month contract basis. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for an analytical professional with experience in credit risk, collections, or accounts receivable who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

The Credit & Collections Analyst will support the Credit Risk Management and Collections teams by evaluating customer creditworthiness, analyzing financial and trade reports, and helping minimize credit risk while supporting business growth. This role also plays a key part in maintaining strong cash flow through effective collection efforts and account management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze a variety of credit and trade reports to assess overall customer financial health and recommend credit decisions.

  • Identify and evaluate potential risk indicators, including bankruptcies, judgments, liens, and other adverse financial events.

  • Maintain accurate customer records by updating credit references, bank references, and related account information.

  • Support the Risk Manager in conducting and completing annual credit reviews in a timely manner.

  • Assist in minimizing financial risk by supporting credit and collections activities and helping reduce aged receivables.

  • Manage collections activities for an assigned portfolio of accounts.

  • Provide invoices, proof of delivery (POD), and other supporting documentation to facilitate customer payments.

  • Monitor account status and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure collection goals and KPIs are achieved.

  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in credit risk analysis, collections, deductions, accounts receivable, or a related financial role.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

  • Experience with SAP and/or HighRadius is a plus.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and customer service skills.


Pay Details: $29.25 per hour
