Position Overview

Intelicare Counseling is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our team in a full-time or part-time remote capacity. Work Environment

This role is fully remote, giving you the flexibility to create a work environment that suits your needs while maintaining productivity. You will engage with clients remotely via secure video conferencing platforms tailored for mental health care, adhering to all HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality and integrity of clinical data.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients, developing and maintaining trusting therapeutic relationships that adhere to professional ethical standards.
• Conduct regular sessions with clients to monitor their progress, offer support, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Create, implement, and track personalized treatment plans centered on each client's unique needs and goals.
• Document and maintain comprehensive client records, including assessment notes and progress reports in compliance with organizational policies.
• Perform intake assessments to evaluate client needs and formulate treatment strategies.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities to best support clients' needs.
• Engage in individual supervision for ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and other providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Embrace a growth mindset and participate in opportunities for professional training and skill enhancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve engaging with clients facing a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Our diverse client base emphasizes the importance of cultural sensitivity, personalizing treatment approaches to effectively meet the unique needs of each individual within the Bakersfield community and beyond.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited program.
• A valid and unrestricted Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) credential in California.
• At least one year of clinical experience in an outpatient mental health setting following graduate school, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic skills and methodologies.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and active listening skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

While not required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in treating anxiety disorders, depression, substance use disorders, and other complex mental health challenges. Familiarity with a range of therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), would be highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Intelicare Counseling offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a sign-on bonus of $3,000, as well as a fee-for-service model that guarantees timely payment without delays for reimbursement.
