Intelicare Counseling is actively seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our expanding team in San Diego, California. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a manageable caseload of clients and establish trusting therapeutic relationships while observing professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conduct regular meetings to evaluate client progress, stability, and trajectory towards discharge when appropriate.
• Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that reflect clients' unique needs and preferences.
• Document client progress and maintain detailed records, including intake assessments and session notes.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions focusing on a variety of mental health concerns.
• Engage in individual supervision sessions to discuss client cases, treatment strategies, and personal development.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Adopt a growth mindset, continuously seeking to enhance skills and therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal LPCC will work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Our clients come from multiple backgrounds and age groups, requiring counselors to employ culturally competent practices and a tailored approach to treatment. Your role will significantly contribute to improved patient outcomes, helping clients navigate their mental health journeys effectively.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current, unrestricted LPCC license in the state of California.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience working in an outpatient setting following graduation.
• Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and active listening skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in treating a variety of mental health disorders.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Experience in conducting group therapy sessions would be a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we are pleased to offer a sign-on bonus of $3,000 as part of our commitment to attracting qualified candidates. Our fee-for-service model ensures that clinicians receive guaranteed rates and are compensated ahead of collections, minimizing wait times for reimbursement.
