Position Overview

Intelicare Counseling is actively searching for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our remote team in Anaheim, California. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to engage with clients battling a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for assessing client needs, devising individualized treatment plans, and facilitating therapy sessions to assist clients in achieving their mental health goals.

Work Environment

This position is practiced remotely, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured outpatient office environment. Engaging with clients virtually, you will participate in a technology-driven workflow, utilizing telehealth platforms that facilitate seamless sessions and documentation. Our team values a work-life balance, with working hours strictly on weekdays—Monday through Friday—eliminating evening and weekend obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of diverse clients, establishing rapport and maintaining professional boundaries while delivering empathetic support.
• Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand client backgrounds, mental health status, and treatment objectives.
• Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ needs and therapeutic goals.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, ensuring timely updates are recorded in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Hold individual therapy sessions weekly, using evidence-based practices tailored to specific client challenges.
• Participate in individual supervision and professional development activities to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers and specialists to coordinate comprehensive client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adults struggling with various mental health issues, such as substance abuse, anxiety disorders, depression, and eating disorders. As many of our clients come from diverse backgrounds, a culturally competent approach is crucial in understanding and addressing their unique experiences and challenges.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• An active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in the state of California.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, preferably post-graduation.
• Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and listening skills that contribute to effective patient interactions and treatment outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a remote mental health setting, demonstrating proficiency with telehealth technologies and virtual engagement.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and person-centered approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

Intelicare Counseling offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills. New hires will also receive a sign-on bonus of $3,000 as a warm welcome to our team. Our fee-for-service model ensures guaranteed rates, enabling counselors to be paid ahead of client collections, eliminating financial wait times.
