Community Group Home Counselor
LOCATION: Buckhannon/Weston

Opportunity:
Home Base Inc is seeking qualified persons to work with a professional and dedicated clinical team treating moderate to severe emotional and behavioral problems for boys ages 12 -17 in a unique alternative residential treatment environment. Residential counselors are involved in all aspects of the mental health treatment and care of the children, including treatment planning, counseling sessions, advocating for children within the public school setting, attending court proceedings, case management and ensuring that the children’s basic needs are met.
Outdoor recreational enthusiasts are encouraged to apply. The programs are located in the heart of wild wonderful West Virginia, less than 30 miles from the great Monongahela National Forest. The residents are provided opportunities year-round to engage in outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, rock climbing and other outdoor recreational activities.
Compensation:
Salary and wages range from $30,600 – $36,000 annually.
Benefits include: 2 weeks Paid Vacation, Sick leave, IRA, Health, Dental and Vision insurance, tuition assistance up to $2000 per year for those continuing their education as well as assistance with relocation if needed; but the real reward is the experience.
There are many opportunities within the organization for advancement and career development for qualified candidates. Home Base provides an array of service throughout the entire state of West Virginia with multiple licensed Behavioral Health Centers, and Social Service Centers. Supervision for licensure is provided gratis.
