Job description

Slat Plant Forklift Operator
JOB SUMMARY:
Hog Slat, Inc., the world's largest provider of equipment and turnkey facilities to the swine and poultry industries, is seeking an exceptional individual to join lead our team in our newest Concrete Slat Manufacturing plant in Humboldt, IA.
The primary role of this position it to haul raw material for casting and the finished product to the yard. The individual will also be responsible for loading and unloading trucks as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to work in an industrial / production manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to pass drug test
  • Must adhere to safety procedures/guidelines at all times

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and/or extreme cold.
