Overview

The healthcare landscape is rapidly changing. The Associate Software Engineer position is needed to research, develop, operate, and maintain Natural Language Technology (NLT) and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) solutions for CCV. Specialized clinical NLT and informatics skills are required to develop, operate, and maintain NLT solutions. This person will work in a fast-paced environment where the collective team emphasis is to generate market driven solutions that work. The successful candidate will be required to collaborate effectively with developers, offshore development team members, business owners, project management, and other internal stakeholders. We develop highly innovative customer-facing applications in healthcare analytics to generate performance, improvement opportunities, and value for our clients.
Responsibilities
  • Work within the team developing and supporting analytics systems with patent pending technology and applications to support our in-house audit partners.
  • Design and implement new solutions.
  • Learn new technologies and apply them to the problem space.
  • Peer review software changes by other developers.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team on development.
  • Document the specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production rollout.
  • Work collaboratively with business partners to define and ensure the completeness and accuracy of system/technical requirements.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field.
  • 0-1 year of industry experience.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of software engineering principles, design principles, performance, and applications that scale.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to execute project deliverables in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within estimated timelines.

Base compensation ranges from $77,000 to $97,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
