Job Description Summary

CareMore Health is seeking a Senior Clinical Data Analyst to join the analytics team to support and advance clinical analytics by analyzing clinical, claims, and operational data to uncover insights that drive improvements in quality, outcomes, and efficiency. This role is hands-on, focused on generating clear analyses, dashboards, and actionable insights that guide clinical and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing advanced SQL, building compelling visualizations, and communicating findings in plain business language.

How will you make an impact & Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Insight Generation
    • Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
    • Analyze clinical, claims, and operational datasets to identify trends, care variation, and opportunities for improving outcomes.
    • Conduct focused deep dive analyses on quality metrics, utilization patterns, readmissions, and chronic disease management.
  • Reporting & Visualization
    • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and scorecards that track clinical quality and operational performance in Power BI or similar visualization tools.
    • Ensure reporting aligns with organizational priorities and regulatory/quality programs (e.g., HEDIS, STARS) when applicable.
    • Continuously enhance reporting tools to improve usability, accuracy, and timeliness based on close partnership with operational and clinical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & Clinical Support
    • Partner with providers, care teams, and quality leaders to interpret data and support performance improvement efforts.
    • Serve as primary analytics contributor in organizational improvement workgroups supporting clinical and population health initiatives.
  • Data Stewardship & Standards
    • Support standardization of definitions, metrics, and methodologies across programs and markets.
    • Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and availability.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, healthcare analytics, business intelligence, or related field.
    • Proficiency in SQL, including writing queries with joins and basic performance tuning.
    • Experience in creating dashboards and data visualizations that support decision-making.
    • Ability to translate analytical findings into clear, concise insights for clinical, operational, or business audiences.
    • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., clinical, operations, quality); comfort engaging stakeholders at various levels.
    • Strong analytical thinking, problemsolving skills, and attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred:
    • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, healthcare analytics, or business intelligence.
    • Advanced SQL skills, including working complex joins, aggregations, and query optimization.
    • Strong experience building interactive dashboards and reports that influence decision-making.
    • Familiarity with quality programs such as HEDIS, STARS, CMS measures.
    • Familiarity with data modeling concepts or ETL processes.
    • Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Databricks.
    • Background in healthcare, clinical data, population health, or valuebased care analytics.

Compensation Range:

$130,159.00

to

$195,238.00

The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
