Job description

Health First is seeking a compassionate and team-oriented Hospice & Palliative Care Physician to join our growing program on Florida s beautiful Space Coast. This is an excellent opportunity to practice meaningful, patient-centered medicine within a supportive interdisciplinary environment that prioritizes quality of care, physician wellness, and work-life balance.

Join an established hospice and palliative care team providing care across home-based and inpatient settings while enjoying a predictable schedule, manageable patient volumes, and built-in post-call recovery time.

Position Highlights
  • Full-time employed physician opportunity
  • Monday Friday schedule
  • Average daily census of only 4 6 patients per day
  • Blend of home-based hospice care and inpatient coverage
  • Inpatient responsibilities include Palm Bay Hospital and a 16-bed hospice house
  • Light 1:3 call rotation
  • Two days off following call coverage for improved work-life balance
  • Established interdisciplinary support team including:
    • Advanced Practice Providers
    • Registered Nurses
    • Social Workers
    • Chaplains
    • Administrative support staff
