Job description

Neany Inc., headquartered in California, Maryland is currently looking to hire Senior Financial Analyst position working with the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) / Prototypes & Experiments (P&E) location is Alexandria VA. This position requires a Secret or Top-Secret clearance. Neany Inc. offers excellent pay for this position ranging from $85,000.00 – $140,000.00. Our benefits package includes, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K after the first six months and tuition assistance. Relocation assistance can be discussed.

Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst will interpret financial statements, market trends, and microeconomic conditions in order to offer recommendations on potential business deals and decisions.

The senior financial analyst is responsible for managing a team of financial analysts to provide core financial planning and analysis support to various areas of the company..

· Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Yes.

· Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Working knowledge of MIPRS
  • Staffer Briefs experience
  • Experience with R2's
  • Prepares and developing forward-looking forecasts and budgets.
  • Preparation and presentation of accurate monthly summary of expenses such as direct costs (data, printing, fulfillment) with concise action-oriented commentary and analysis to designated higher authority
  • Undertake a monthly proactive review of costs
  • Prepare monthly reports on financials to be distributed to higher.
  • Improve efficiency and control environment, including management of cost center structure and assignment by evaluating processes and providing recommendations.
  • Develop and perform reporting of operating metrics that ensures financial performance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of DoD principles and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

· Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field required.
  • Three years of relevant experience required.

· Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
