Job description

Job Description Step into a key support role with a busy HR team where your accuracy, organisation, and eye for detail directly impact employee experience and HR service delivery. This contract opportunity offers the chance to deepen your HR operations expertise while working with established systems and processes in a fast-paced environment. Earn great pay while building valuable, career-enhancing skills across HR administration and reporting.

About the Role: This role is responsible for providing administrative and processing support for the delivery of Human Resources (HR) services, ensuring data integrity and timely execution of HR transactions. You will manage HR records, maintain HRIS data, and support benefits processes to keep HR operations running smoothly. Your work will underpin accurate reporting, compliance, and a positive employee experience across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update personnel files and HR records in both physical and electronic formats, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Perform HRIS data entry, updates, and audits to support employee lifecycle processes, including hires, transfers, and terminations. Support benefits enrollment processes by collecting documentation, processing changes, and coordinating with benefits providers as needed.

Generate and distribute routine HR reports and metrics, tracking key data points and highlighting discrepancies for follow-up. Process HR-related forms, documentation, and transactions in a timely manner, adhering to established workflows and service-level expectations. Assist with onboarding and offboarding administration, including preparing documentation and ensuring completion of required paperwork.

Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding HR policies, records, and benefits, escalating complex issues to HR leadership when appropriate. Support HR projects and audits by compiling data, organising records, and assisting with documentation requirements. Key Requirements: Proven experience in an HR administrative or HR coordinator role with responsibility for HR data and records.

Strong proficiency in HR reporting and metrics tracking, with the ability to work accurately with numerical data. Hands-on experience with HRIS data entry and management, including maintaining employee information and processing HR transactions. Demonstrated ability to manage personnel files and records with a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail.

Working knowledge of benefits enrollment processes and basic benefits administration tasks. Proficient in SAP or similar HR/ERP systems for data entry and reporting. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach to supporting employees and HR colleagues. Desirable Skills: Experience working with SHRM-aligned HR practices or in an environment following SHRM standards. Familiarity with HR compliance requirements, including record retention and audit support.

Exposure to process improvement initiatives within HR operations. Advanced skills in Excel or other reporting tools for HR metrics and analysis. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.

SHRM certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) preferred. Additional HR-specific training or coursework in HRIS, benefits, or HR operations is an advantage. If you are a detail-focused HR professional looking to contribute immediately in a contract role and expand your HR operations experience, we encourage you to apply.
