Important Notes from Hiring Manager:
8+ years of Professional experience in an IT related field preferably in a development or testing environment
8+ years of experience in test automation, with a focus on Python
Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, including Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Pytest
Experience with programming languages, including Python, Java, and C#
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes) and cloud-based testing

1 round via MS Teams (audio & video required);
PLEASE NOTE: candidates will receive a live coding problem during the interview.

PROJECT: Working with a team of 6-10 on federal cost transparency project. Candidate will be automating existing scripts using Python. Position approved for 6 months but could go beyond that based on budget/project work.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team, with expertise in test automation using Selenium, Python, and other cutting-edge tools. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality of our software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Python, and other automation tools (e.g., Appium, TestNG)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
Develop and execute test automation scripts to ensure coverage of functional and non-functional testing
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in test automation, and apply that knowledge to improve our testing processes
Mentor junior automation engineers and provide technical guidance and support
Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Requirements:
8+ years of Professional experience in an IT related field preferably in a development or testing environment
8+ years of experience in test automation, with a focus on Python
Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, including Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Pytest
Experience with programming languages, including Python, Java, and C#
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes) and cloud-based testing

Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field or relevant work experience
