Job description

Private Equity M&A (Asset Management) – Mid-Level/Senior Associate

Goodwin seeks a highly qualified associate with 3+ years of experience to join our Private Equity Group. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working both collaboratively in teams and independently managing components of transactions. Strong experience in asset management M&A is required, with a particular focus on GP stakes transactions preferred. Additionally, the candidate should have a broad background in corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital transactions and exits, and equity compensation. Candidate must be proactive, with a strong business sense, stellar communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships.

Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) in the resident office’s location is required.
