The Parts Store Manager is responsible to oversee the operations of the parts store functions (shipping, receiving, delivery, inventory management and order filling) in an efficient and safe manner. This includes the coordination of day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including providing leadership, motivation, and training of parts representatives, direct delegation and supervision of assignments as well as ensuring a uniform and efficient workflow. This position is also responsible for administration and evaluation of profitable short and long term objectives of parts store operations. Creates a culture that delivers customer excellence.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Complete Manager Training program and job rotation tasks as assigned.
  • Responsible to maintain professional behavior consistent with the Mission, Vision and values of WCAT
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Manage inventory to provide more efficient warehouse flow and ensure accurate receiving and order filling processes. Supervise and coordinate annual physical inventory counting and recording.
  • Manage Parts Warehouse Supervisors and their activity, including recruiting, hiring, terminating, reviewing performance and coaching team representatives.
  • Monitors and updates team members time records so that it accurately reflects hours worked, vacation, sick and holiday pay.
  • Lead safety excellence and overall compliance. • Implement business strategies set forth by senior management and participate in improving the business by administering and evaluating short and long term objectives for the parts store as well as offering potential alternatives to existing methods.
  • Ensure communication of and compliance with all company human resources and safety polices and procedures
  • Assist Warehouse Parts Supervisors with development of warehouse and routinely analyze and control expenditures to meet budget
  • Serve as a primary contact between parts operations and other departments/managers within WCAT. Communicate with customers and company employees to resolve customer problems and expedite customer deliveries when necessary.
  • Responsible to manage productive home team meetings. Supervisory Responsibilities Manages parts warehouse supervisors, parts representatives and other store personnel; is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
  • Handle supervisory duties, which will include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and/or three to five years related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read, write, interpret, convey, and receive information in written, verbal, and diagram form.
  • Ability to remain calm during emotional or escalated circumstances with customers or other employees
  • Solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong time-management skills for self and others.
  • Ability to present information in group settings to train or inform employees or customers.
  • Willingness to relocate to any of our locations within the Oklahoma or Texas territory. (The WEC Moving and Relocation Guidelines will apply if a relocation assignment is required).
