    Job description

Ford Racing is looking for someone who works comfortably across strategy, finance, and team operations. As the Lead Analyst for Program Management Operations & Profitability, you'll help keep the department's strategic and operational health on track across our entire production vehicle lineup, from the Raptor family to our Ford Racing Mustangs.
You'll own our profitability (TVM) initiatives, manage our engineering budgets, and rebuild the processes behind how the PM team works day to day. Working closely with the PM leadership team and our other internal functions, you'll anchor our executive and program reporting cadence and lead the development operational strategies that shape our decisions.
This role suits someone with strong business acumen who is comfortable operating without a detailed playbook and wants to build the operational foundation behind some of the highest-performance products in Ford's portfolio.
    Responsibilities
    What you'll do...
    • Own the Ford Racing Production Vehicle TVM and CRID portfolio. Build the tracking architecture and give leadership clear visibility, while partnering with the PMs who run the engineering execution.
    • Turn CRID ideas into prioritized roadmaps, giving PMs clear, executable targets that maximize TVM delivery within existing resource constraints.
    • Track and develop profitability improvement projects across multiple vehicle lines, connecting engineering realities to financial accountability.
    • Own the department's executive reporting cadence. Aggregate cross-program data into the weekly Ops Dashboard, manage the 3-month rolling GEMBA pipeline for production vehicle topics, and build streamlined reporting that reduces administrative load on the PMs and enables engineering functions to be more focused.
    • Partner with Ford Racing teams to research and draft business cases and analytical reports for executive leadership (for example, program profitability vs. engineering headcount).
    • Manage budgeting and forecasting for production program engineering spend, including purchased services, CAD budgets, and engineering materials.
    • Track monthly orders, manage POs, follow accruals, and flag budget disconnects to leadership and Finance early, before they turn into overruns.
    • Serve as the central PM coordinator for corporate and cross-program directives (for example, global quality countermeasures or branding). Standardize the impact assessment process so individual program teams can stay focused on vehicle execution while you track overall compliance.
    • Lead the rollout of AI tools across the PM team, using them to improve program outcomes, strengthen data analysis, and grow the team's capability-not just to save time.
    • You can distill complex data and operational noise into clear insights that help leaders decide quickly.
    • You drive accountability and results across cross-functional teams you don't directly manage.
    • You use AI to handle the heavy analytical lifting, but you rely on judgment, empathy, and relationships to navigate tough engineering and financial tradeoffs.
    • You work well in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and can move from drafting an executive report to a detailed financial analysis without losing a step.
    • You're self-driven to investigate new approaches, solve hard problems, and challenge legacy thinking.

    Qualifications
    You'll have...
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of professional experience in program management, business operations, corporate strategy, or product development.
    • Experience managing departmental budgets, tracking costs, and performing financial forecasting.
    • Experience with cost reduction (TVM) processes, from idea generation through execution.
    • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to track KPIs and turn raw operational data into business recommendations.
    • Intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to anticipate where a fast-changing technological and automotive landscape is heading.

    Even better, you may have...
    • Master's degree (MBA or Engineering Management).
    • Experience using AI tools to improve business efficiency and program outcomes, or a strong desire to learn.
    • Familiarity with Ford's financial and engineering systems (e.g., Hyperion, GPIRS, WERS, GPRR, FEDEBOM, 3DX).
    • Experience supporting GPDS Milestones, Gateways, or launch execution.
    • A passion for Ford Racing products and motorsports.

You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder...or all of the above? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:
    • Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage
    • Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care and more
    • Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more
    • Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases
    • Tuition assistance
    • Established and active employee resource groups
    • Paid time off for individual and team community service
    • A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year's Day
    • Paid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time.
