Responsibilities:
As the Co-Retail Experience Manager (RXM) at Fleet Feet Upper Arlington, you'll be at the heart of our store's daily operations, leading with passion, supporting your team, and delivering a premium customer experience. This role is about much more than managing people and processes. You'll be a mentor, motivator, and example of what it means to go above and beyond for customers and teammates alike. Your presence on the sales floor will drive performance, nurture a high-energy team culture, and contribute directly to the store's overall success.
  • The day-to-day and long-term success of retail staff with a focus on customer experience
  • Serving as the point person on the retail floor ensuring that every customer receives a consistent experience
  • Plans, identifies, communicates, and delegates responsibility to the team
  • Overseeing the key holders and outfitters
  • Overseeing entire daily operations of your retail store
  • Achieving quarterly and annual sales and metric goals
  • Assisting with schedule management and assistance in labor budget management
  • Overseeing and managing accurate store inventory by conducting physical counts provided by the buying team
  • Ensuring all inventory is received and prepped for sale in timely manner
  • Overseing the timely fulfillment of ecommerce orders
  • Organizing and managing in-store events
  • Ensuring proper store merchandising guidance provided by the buying team
  • Maintaining proper supply levels for the store
  • Overseeing general upkeep of the store and maintenance repairs in a timely manner
  • Ensuring your team has the tools they need to achieve the retail performance metrics
  • Conducting Uqube check-ins
  • Conducting key holder and outfitter disciplinary conversations
  • Time will be spent 4-5 days per week managing your retail location

Qualifications:
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with at least 2-3 years of retail experience in a customer-facing sales setting required
  • Proven track record of leading your team by example, giving feedback, and coaching in the moment.
  • Experienced in having hard conversations (performance, disciplinary, etc.)
  • Passion for coaching and developing people
  • Ability to balance the needs of employees and business
  • Can own and manage administrative tasks, customer interactions and a fast-paced environment while staying organized
  • Professional and timely internal and external communication
  • Has a proven track record of developing and training staff
  • Promotes individual and team performance by setting expectations, delegating, and providing tools and resources

Additional Requirements - Hours of work for this position are approximately 40+ hours per week. Position requires moving around for periods of 4-6 hours without a rest break, and task sequencing and the completion of complex administrative responsibilities. Occasional moderate to heavy (10-25+lb) lifting and carrying, bending and reaching overhead may be required. Work environment includes substantial communication with customers, working in a retail environment with product displays and stockroom with inventory, and potentially slippery surfaces. Position is under minimum levels of day-to-day supervision. Some travel may be required for meetings, training or conferences.
