Job description

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Receiving Manager in Buford, Ga. In this hands-on, fast-paced leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing inbound receiving operations, inventory accuracy, and material flow across the organization.  Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.

In a Receiving Manager job, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Leading and directing the receiving function to ensure timely and accurate receipt of all incoming materials.
  • Maintaining inventory integrity and managing material flow across the organization.
  • Supporting SAP Goods Receipt transactions and verifying material processing accuracy.
  • Fostering effective communication between Receiving, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Production, and vendors to quickly resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operational standards across all inbound processes.

What you’ll need:
  • Proven leadership experience managing inbound receiving operations, inventory, and material flow within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly across internal departments (Purchasing, AP, Production) and external vendors.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as business needs require.

Perks:
  • Pay rate: $65,000 – $75,000 annually (Depending on Experience)
  • Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (plus overtime as needed)
