Job description

Stop driving solo and start leading. We are looking for professional CDL-A drivers to join the Driver Mentor program. This position is designed for drivers who want to maximize their income by being paid for every mile the truck moves, while enjoying a significantly better home-time schedule.

WEEKLY EARNING POTENTIAL
We keep our Mentors moving. With priority dispatch and a trainee on board, our trucks consistently average 3,500 miles per week.

  • Your Base Pay: $0.55 – $0.65 CPM (Based on experience)
  • Mentor Premium: +$0.10 CPM (On all miles)
  • Productivity Bonus: +$0.04 CPM (On all miles)
  • TOTAL RATE: $0.69 – $0.79 CPM
  • Average weekly pay: $1,900 – $2,300

HOW IT WORKS

  • Efficient Stacking: After your student completes their 5-hour driving requirement, you take over the wheel to finish 9 hours left on the clock and maximize the truck’s mileage.
  • Observation & Training: Your expertise ensures the student learns safety and trip planning while the truck stays in motion.
  • Priority Dispatch: Mentors receive priority load assignments to keep the wheels moving.

BONUSES

  • Fast Start: $250 for your 1st student pickup + $250 for your 1st student dispatch.
  • Safety Milestones: $500 bonus at 10K safe miles + $300 bonus at 20K safe miles.
  • Elite Status: After training 6 students, earn a residual $0.01 CPM for every mile your students drive solo during their first year.

HOME TIME

  • Schedule: 11-Day Mentor Runs following 5-7 days home time.
  • Modern Fleet: Late-model Cascadias and Volvos equipped for OTR comfort.

PAID MENTOR TRAINING

  • Training Pay: $850 upon completion of the 4-day certification.
  • Logistics: Corporate hotel (Holiday Inn) and meals provided.
  • Schedule: Mon–Thurs, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

REQUIREMENTS (FSCM COMPLIANT)

  • Experience: 3+ months of verifiable Solo OTR/Regional experience.
  • Testing: Must pass Hair Follicle and Urine drug screens (FSCM Rules).
  • Leadership: Valid Class A CDL, clean MVR, and a desire to train the next generation.
