Job Description

Job Summary

The Business Strategy Analyst II is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the performance of an auto finance loan portfolio to predict and evaluate portfolio performance.  Identifies, analyzes, and monitors issues that affect profitability, growth, and productivity. Assists in developing long-term goals and strategic objectives for the organization, and recommending financial and non-financial strategic alternatives.  Develops and maintains operational plans.

Job Duties
  • Independently monitors and analyzes the performance of an auto finance loan portfolio to predict and evaluate portfolio performance; identifies, analyzes, and monitors issues that affect profitability, growth, and productivity.
  • Independently develops and produces analysis related to loan origination, performance and forecasting, to include manipulating and interpreting data, analyzing/identifying trends, and reports findings. 
  • Completes ad hoc projects related to the entire function of credit risk, and summarizes results using verbal, written, and formal presentation techniques. 
  • Summarizes analysis and communicates information to various levels of management.
  • Assists in developing and recommending portfolio policy and procedures, long-term goals and strategic objectives, and recommendations for financial and non-financial strategic alternatives.  Develops and maintains operational plans.
  • Manage individual projects as assigned to ensure adherence to schedule, as well as quality and accuracy of delivered results.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience
  • College Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or similar discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in business analysis and/or reporting functions.
  • Experience with advanced spreadsheet manipulation and modeling, including forecasting techniques.
  • Understanding of data mining tools such as SAS, SQL, and other similar products.
  • Understanding of data sources/warehouses, data mining and data analysis techniques.

Business Strategy Analyst II - Sales

Job Summary

Supports the Sales organization through performance analytics, reporting, sales technology administration, and operational initiatives. This role analyzes sales performance data, develops and maintains reporting and dashboard solutions, and provides actionable insights that support business decisions and sales effectiveness. The incumbent serves as a key partner to Sales leadership and field sales teams by managing critical sales systems, supporting dealer focused programs, and contributing to strategic and operational objectives.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the Sales reporting suite, including the development, maintenance, automation, validation, and distribution of reports, dashboards, and dealer scorecards; analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and actionable insights.
  • Present findings, forecasts, and recommendations to Sales leadership and other stakeholders to support business decisions, strategic planning, and organizational objectives.
  • Support dealer focused initiatives, including direct mail campaigns, dealer performance tracking, dealer group meetings, and sales events by coordinating reporting, presentation materials, logistics, and performance analysis.
  • Support dealer facing compliance initiatives by coordinating documentation reviews, maintaining required records, and partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies, dealer agreements, and applicable regulations.
  • Serve as a key business resource for Salesforce.com, dealer portal applications, and other Sales technologies by maintaining data integrity, supporting users, managing records, resolving issues, coordinating with technology partners, and driving effective system utilization.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business analytics, reporting, sales operations, financial analysis, or a related analytical function; experience supporting a sales organization, automotive finance, consumer lending, or financial services environment preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis techniques, including data manipulation, reporting, dashboard development, pivot tables, and basic forecasting methodologies.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or a comparable CRM platform; working knowledge of SQL, SAS, or other reporting and data analysis tools preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data from multiple sources, develop presentations and reporting materials, and communicate actionable insights to business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including

skill set, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

The pay range for this role is $64,600.00 - $89,250.00 annually.
