Job description

Description:Estimator

The Opportunity

A strong foundation. A bigger opportunity.

We’re looking for someone with a solid estimating foundation who is ready for the next step. Maybe you’re currently in an estimator role, handling smaller losses, and you’re looking for the right opportunity to sharpen your skills, expand your knowledge, and grow into larger commercial claims.

At EPIC, you won’t be expected to know everything on day one. But you will be expected to care, stay curious, ask good questions, and take ownership of your growth.

An EPIC Estimator helps bring clarity to challenging situations. You’ll work alongside experienced team members, learn how to evaluate complex losses, build detailed scopes, communicate with clients and adjusters, and help move projects forward with confidence.

A Day In The Life

Learning the work. Making an impact.

Imagine starting your morning walking a commercial water loss with a Senior Estimator, taking notes, asking questions, and learning how to identify the details that matter. Later, you head back to the office to build out a scope, review photos, update an estimate, and make sure the documentation tells the full story.

After lunch, you join a call with an adjuster to review scope questions, then visit a property to confirm measurements and gather additional information. As the day winds down, you check in with the production team, follow up with customers, and leave knowing you helped bring order to a difficult situation.

The best part? Your work stays close to home. You'll serve clients throughout Metro Atlanta, building lasting relationships in the market instead of living out of a suitcase. You end each day knowing you've made a difference.

If this sounds like you, read on. If not, please share it with someone who might be interested.

What You’ll Need To WinExperience helps. Character matters more.

You don’t need to be a large-loss expert yet. But you do need to be motivated, coachable, and hungry to learn.

You’re detail-oriented and organized. You take good notes, document progress, follow up when you say you will, and do not let things fall through the cracks.

You’re comfortable talking with clients, adjusters, property managers, subcontractors, and coworkers. You may not always have the answer immediately, but you’re willing to dig until you find it.

You stay calm when things are busy. You can walk into a stressful situation, listen well, gather information, and help create a path forward.

You enjoy solving problems. You like learning how buildings are put together, how scopes are built, how estimates are written, and how claims are moved toward resolution.

You are confident in navigating tools like Excel and Xactimate and understand the importance of continuing to sharpen those skills.

Your driving record and background check should reflect the professionalism you bring to work. Yes, we check.

Success Looks LikeGrowth people can count on.

You ask thoughtful questions. You follow through. You get better over time. Senior team members trust you because you are dependable, prepared, and eager to learn. Production teams appreciate your attention to detail. Adjusters and clients see that you are honest, professional, and committed to doing things the right way. Over time, you begin handling more complex scopes with greater confidence. You start recognizing issues before they become problems. You become the person others can count on to bring clarity, accuracy, and momentum to a project. Your reputation grows because your effort, attitude, and follow-through are consistent.
